I met Allison for a quick drink at Soho House Chicago to talk about her upcoming wedding and, more importantly, get to know one another. We realized we both loved to travel, and Morocco was at the top of our lists. We are both laid pretty back, and our husbands (future husbands for her) are very outgoing and a little goofy. We chatted about how her wedding was going to be on a smaller scale, more intimate, and at a beautiful location, my absolute dream.

We started the engagement session at Josh’s restaurant in Chicago, Giant, which is insanely cool. It is such a huge part of who they are that it was only fitting to begin there. We moved over to the Art Institute of Chicago and, luckily, had almost the whole area to ourselves. It was an amazing morning, and I cannot wait until their wedding this fall.
